Jussi Halla-aho, PhD, a Finnish blogger, politician and City Council member, is to stand trial on August 25. He has been charged with incitement against an ethnic group and breach of the sanctity of religion in connection with statements on his blog about the Somali community and about Islam's prophet being a pedophile.

Halla-aho's original text titled "A couple of baits for Mika Illman (the State Prosecutor)" dealt with double standards evident in Finnish case law and the media. A translation by the well-known blogger KGS of Tundra Tabloids can be found here.
