Ну, насчёт НАМНОГО менее мощный - спорно. Их мощность, как и кипятильников от 175 до 2000 Ватт. Маломощные - для масла, мощные - для охлаждайки. Контактные - средней мощности.

Есть нагреватели с термостатами (сами отключаются).
Когда я на халявном электричестве, то и внутренний и моторный работают максимально. Когда дома - подбираю по ситуации, но не менее 30 минут (у меня оба около 300Вт, уж про внутренний молчу  )
